Curriculum
Renato Bollhalder obtained a masters degree in physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ). He then spent one year at CEIPI in Strasbourg where he studied intellectual property. After having completed these studies, he started to work with William Blanc et Cie., a small patent attorney firm located in Geneva. He joined A. Braun Braun Héritier Eschmann AG, now BOHEST AG, in 1995 where he became a European Patent Attorney in 1998. When André Braun sen. fully retired from business in 2000, Renato became a partner of the firm, as well as a member of the Board. He was promoted to CEO in 2003.
